Now…this is worth reading…

Nick Holmes of Binary law has a fascinating piece about Microsoft licences and their right to determine, unilaterally, that you have broken your contract and disable parts of your computer remotely…

Here it is.

  1. Continually chuffed that you find my posts interesting enough to blog them! I wish I had an interest in cricket, European Parliament etc, but sadly, no. I confess to indulging in the odd Silk Cut (much to spousal displeasure) (is x per day “odd” where x is more than a few?) and a glass of Rioja now and then (the palate ranges rampant across other parts of the globe), but it seems crass to comment on those vices. Ah well … cheers!

  2. Nick….contrary to appearances (my blawg being almost devoid of law) I am,actually, fascinated by quite a bit of law – and Contract always attracts my attention.

Yes… les vices…. tabac, in etc etc… life can be simple sometimes.I do, as it happens, drink a fair range of red… but Rioja (Bollo) or Tempranillo (Swan) is my vice of choice when I go to The Bollo or The Swan…. easier that way… don’t need to think too much when I sit down to talk to/at/be talked at with/by my dining companions.

I’m sure that I will continue to find pieces from Binary Law and will draw them to the attention of those with time enough on their hands to visit my blawg…
